Are there any charges for canceling an appointment?
The patient will be charged a $35.00 fee for not canceling their appointment within 24 hr. prior to the appointment or same day cancellations. This will help keep the office running efficiently for everyone.
Do I need to schedule an appointment in advance?
We usually schedule appointments in advance, but we do appreciate and welcome walk-ins if you would like to be seen for something urgent. If there is an emergency please call 911 before calling our office.
All weight loss and Aesthetic appointments will be seen on Friday and by appointment only.
What is the procedure to have blood tests or certain procedures done?
Most procedures are performed in the office and are non-invasive with no downtime. We do not draw labs in the office, Dr. Sood will order your lab work and you will have it done at the lab facility that is contracted with your insurance.
How can we get prescriptions from the office?
A patient can receive prescriptions when he/she conveys so to the nurse or doctor. The turn-around time for prescription refills is 48-72 hours. Prescriptions for Narcotic and Benzodiazepine will not be written for any new patients.
What Medical Insurances are accepted?
We accept most insurances that are PPO, Medicare, Medicaid (Silver Summit, HPN, FFS), Culinary Ambetter, Teachers Health Trust, PEBP, and more. You can contact us to find out if your specific insurance is accepted or not. We are not contracted with any HMO plans.
What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept payment in cash, check, credit card, and ATM debit card with Visa or Mastercard logo.
What if a patient has a deductible?
If a patient has a deductible, he/she will have to make arrangements to pay for the office visit portions of their deductible at the time of the visit.

What do we need to bring at the time of the visit?
You need to carry your health insurance card and government issued photo identity card. New patients should bring all their prescription bottles & names/addresses/phone numbers of previous providers.
